Textile art is my passion. I studied machine embroidery at Missenden Abbey with Pam Watts to City and Guilds Diploma Level. I enjoy travelling and gain inspiration from places visited. I like patterns both natural and man-made. Lutradur, acrylic felt and water soluble fabrics are favoured materials due to the ease of colouring and manipulation, usually embellished with machine embroidery.

My recent work has involved kinoptic art which dates back to Persian times. Two different images are combined so that one can be seen from the left angle and the other from the right.

I have exhibited with the New Embroidery Group and the Eastern Region Textile Forum. In 2016 I won the Embroidery Guild’s Eastern Region Chelmsford Cup. I undertake commissions.
