I was trained as a Geographer and Geologist at London Universities, so have a great interest in international cultures and world environments. I am an avid photographer, collector and sketch-book creator. After a Career in Education, as a Teacher, Adviser and Schools Inspector, I studied Textiles at Bucks New University, UK and am now working as a full-time Artist. My passion is paper, its properties and how it can be used in Textile Art. My current work includes large installations created using hand made and re-cycled paper as well as felt, paper and metal accessories
Some of the locations where I have exhibited work include
Cleveland Ohio USA, Taiwan, Korea, Switzerland , Israel , Germany, France, Poland, Bulgaria and in various locations in the UK including the Mall Gallery
I have run workshops at Art Van Go, for the Embroiderers’ Guild and in Brantome France and offer tailor made courses and mentoring from my studio in London
