I was one of the founder members of New Embroidery Group and have, over the years, contributed regularly to its activities and exhibitions.
My interest as an artist in both botanical and landscape drawing and painting forms the inspiration for my embroidery designs. I develop my work using both machine and hand embroidery combined with fabric appliqué.
I was elected a member of The Society of Designer Craftsmen in 1987.
